Geology

Our passion is geology so, when we can, we get involved in geological events. There isn’t much commercial demand for geological surveys and most of those are made by the BGS and/or academic institutions.

Nevertheless, even with a dwindling number of keen geologists available, we are able to contribute locally and regionally.

Tim Langdale-Smith has shared the voluntary role of RIGGS Officer with John Aram for the last 15 years and we have developed an intimate knowledge of the geology of Lincolnshire. You can see us at the Lincolnshire Show every year, on a stand in the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust tent, and at professional presentations from time to time. http://www.lincstrust.org.uk/
